From Loweswater

I suppose I ought to have blipped a view of Loweswater seeing as we did the circuit this afternoon. I liked this view of Mellbreak and Hen Comb better. I’ve put on in the extras from Holme Beck on the western side.

A lovely walk going up high above the lake on the eastern side along the foot of the Loweswater Fells before coming down to Waterend and Holme Wood. A few people about otherwise quiet.

We were tempted to call in at the Kirkstile Inn afterwards. It would have been permissible to have a pint of their Gold given we’d just circumnavigated the lake which gives the beer its name. We resisted.
