Jimmy the beloved marmoset

No pilates today so we got organised and drove to Henley. Parked by the river and then set off to walk to Greys Court. It was a great route and easy to follow.  The weather was perfect for walking.  We stopped for a drink and a scone and then had a look round the gardens.  There were lots of ripening tomatoes of all shades and shapes.  The giant wisteria had very pretty seed pods dangling down.
Did a slightly different route back to Henley and spotted this little gravestone by the road.  Obviously a much loved exotic pet.
Sat by the river and had a supermarket meal deal for lunch. People and boat watching was fun.
Home for an afternoon of reading in the garden and then a film with the family.  Enjoyed 'Sinners' and jumped at all the appropriate scares.
Had to put my kindle down in bed otherwise I'd have consumed my latest book in one day.  I'm really enjoying 'Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow '.
