Market Day

With K, Ronnie and Ivy headed out early to the market to buy some sticky buns for Dad and to enjoy a belated birthday hot chocolate. While in the cafe realised I'd left my phone at home so had to dash back and then head straight out again to catch the first of today's three buses into Bath.

Day 51: Ended up spending 7hrs with Dad who was in incredible pain. Being the weekend, it was very hard to get a doctor to prescribe pain relief and treatment which eventually resolved the situation, after many stressful hours. Once the pain had passed, I left him to sleep and I headed home this evening, emotionally and physically drained. Too tired to cook, tea is an ice cream, a packet of crisps, and a large glass of red wine.
