The Fitzwilliam Museum.

We headed off to the Fitzwilliam Museum this morning- we couldn’t really remember much about it as it was so long ago that we visited. We managed less than half of it before we had to leave. You could certainly visit many times and not see the full range of exhibits.

I really like the way that the paintings were grouped in themes ( a lot of people don’t like this and prefer a sequential view, ) but I do think that it makes you look at art in a different way.

It was really nice to be able to get up quite close to the artworks and look carefully at the brushwork.
