Frink again.

I had a couple of meetings this morning at Swindon Museum and Art to discuss the curation of an exhibition. The Friends of the Museum are a group dedicated to providing support for the museum and Art Gallery. We are going to choose our favourite art work and it should be displayed from March next year.

I dropped into the Elizabeth Frink exhibition again- I absolutely love her work.

Lin Jammet
Jammet was close to his mother, who encouraged his artistic career and love of music. When making this portrait, Frink commented on his 'lovely head' and questioned why she had never sculpted it before. After her death he said: 'I think if she had the chance to look down to Woolland house, she would be well pleased because she has got her son working here, doing paintings, using vivid colours and shapes and form, and she has got her two grandsons playing in the garden.'
