Steinbock_Travels Day 40
We left Senja, very sad to go, but lots more to see. The next stop was the Lyngen Alps. We had to get a couple of ferries, which was quite funny. Leaving Senja we almost didn’t get on as line 1 was full, so we started Line 2. All the late arrivals just carried on line 1. We managed to get on some time later though. Just amazing golden sand beaches, and a really hot day in Brensholmen, but we carried on to Tromso, to have a look around the city. It was nice, with an excellent coffee shop, and a few nice shops. I think it’s much busier in winter though. Tromso is an island connected by to bridges, but after another 2 hours of driving there was another ferry, Ullsnes to Svensby. We got straight into the end of line 1, there was room even though line 2 had already started. After 10mins someone, another passenger told us off. We apparently could make a lot of people angry by pushing in. We weren’t trying to psh in by the way. As we boarded, we let the people who came before us on first, but there really were people shaking their fists at us. It was all a bit weird. Anyway everyone could get on the ferry no problem, again. We headed to park up at jaegervatn, where we could start the walk. After dinner, 8pm we started up, an 8km round trip, just amazing weather and views, really quiet, just us.
