School Boy Rugby

This morning we travelled south to Waimate to watch a under15 inter school rugby match. An enjoyable bonus (despite the hideous conditions) to watch our Wanaka grandson play for his Dunedin John McGlashan College where he and his older brother are both boarders. 
The photo is crap, my phone doesn't cut it but was all I had with me, and I certainly didn’t want to be seen with my big camera taking photos. 
 He has 18 on his back,  came on early in the first half and got a try in the dying minutes.  A substantial loss to Timaru Boys High School.  Our son Nevin and the older grandson were there too, so was very nice and special….we seldom get these opportunities.
