Caught the bus to town to meet the Mixed Media group for coffee at the art gallery. The Playhouse have told us that they aren’t going to run the sessions any more( funding changes apparently) , though the have offered us meeting room space . We decided to accept their offer and run it ourselves. We’ll need to find and book tutors and make sure we have all the money to pay for them. I volunteered to be the treasurer. Got back home and took my bedroom curtains down. They have faded badly in the sun so my upholstery tutor is going to cut off the faded piece and replace it with some patterned fabric which I bought a while ago. I was going to do it myself but it will be time- consuming and fiddly, and the curtains are bulky, so I decided against it.
I dropped them off at N’s so she could do the alterations whilst I’m in Edinburgh, and called in for petrol and to drop off a set of keys to B(who will feed the cats) on my way home. Had a lateish lunch and then did some inside jobs before walking down the road to get my nails dine, and a pedicure and electrolysis. Saw these beautiful silver birch trees on the way there
