There was a cool wind when I got up this morning but i went outside and did a couple of hours gardening, putting cobbles and pebbles in the pond, planting the pond plants etc and cutting back lots of dead and dying stuff in the two raised beds. Had lunch and tidied and vacuumed the kitchen and then S, V snd M arrived for an afternoon’s Bridge. It was so lovely to see M looking well- she has been undergoing chemo and then surgery in the winter and spring, and then recuperating .
After they left I watered all the pots in the garden - then it poured with rain! Hung the washing out to dry overnight once it had stopped, and saw that the wind had blown the two tall pond plants over.
