So ... back to the beginning

I need to remind myself to record important milestones. Took a rare day totally for myself and finally got through to the end of the novel to complete a second full draft, considerably shorter and tighter than the first, killing a lot of darlings along the way. It was a necessary slaughter. It's now back to the beginning, which is not going to change, and a final run through before I feel happy to put it away for a while.
