The Tracy Dilemma

I had a dilemma today around my portrait project. I saw Tracy here in Leeds, on Vicar Lane, messaging on her phone. She had such a strong presence and energy that I loitered for a few seconds to see if she was soon going to finish, in which case I was going to ask if I could take her portrait. Well, she did, and she was kind enough to let me take a few shots. We then talked and it transpired that she remembered someone asking her the same thing a good few years back. Do you remember where that was? I asked. Ilkley Moor, she replied. It could surely only have been me. I conducted a search and duly found her, a shot dating back to Boxing Day, 2016. I often wonder what it is that has me asking one person rather than another, especially in a busy place like Leeds, where there are so many people I potentially could approach. Was I drawn by the same energy as I had been that last time, over eight years ago?

Anyway, the dilemma was around whether I could post Tracy again. As far as I know, I've avoided any duplication. I had to think hard about that and decided to go for a walk around the block from E's, to see if I found a connection with anybody else. I was thinking not at first, nobody about, when Isa appeared, clearly a decorator, with clothes that looked like they carried multiple year's worth of paint splats. I got my answer.
