Battle of Flowers

The annual ‘battle’ has been scaled down this year. Smaller floats parading through the streets rather than a big ticketed event. By the time I met friends A and M, they had managed to blag 3 kerbside seats outside the town hall. We had a great close up view. There was a politician behind us and lots of camera action, I think we might have been glimpsed on the local news!

Anyway this is my fave photo, I just loved the costume and expression, this lady is having such fun. A few floats in extras. Late getting home so will have to catch up browsing tomorrow. Happy flower Friday everyone!
