The dive

Today, John and I went to a bird hide near Goor, Overijssel. We arrived around nine 'o clock in the morning and immediately there were quite a few birds around. We didn't even dare to go outside to put seeds in the (hidden) feeders.

It didn't take long before a kingfisher showed up. We didn't expect that, but very much welcomed it. At some point, it looked like the kingfisher was just taking a bath by continuously diving in the water. A great chance to try to capture the dive.

Besides the kingfisher, we saw lots of other birds as well. I've added a few in the extras.
