Learned something today

Nice early walk. Off to the gym and had a quiet session and when I walked out the temperature had gone up.
Washing machine repaired while I was out. Did some editing of photos from last two trips. Warm walk with Hetty, but not too hot, went early afternoon as was forecast to get hotter later, and it did.
Hubby always takes my old phone when I get a new one and although I deleted my details last week and set it up for him with his own apple account he didn’t have any passwords with him so finished the job today.
During our walk we quite often go past this information board but I have never stopped to read it, and today I did. So interesting to know why some of the streets have simple names, like Ethel and Violet.
