Warm and wet

Planned to stop at Bedale for lunch and wander round, but heavy rain not fun so stopped at services, quick coffee and home by two. All unpacked and just about to go out with Hetty and heavy rain so postponed and still got wet.
Traffic was good and the only issue was main route closed eight miles out of the village so a bit of a detour which took us on a road with lovely views, so not a problem.
So much mail that our post box was jammed.
Spotted another six figs ready to pick, good that they seem to be ready in small batches and squirrels don’t seem interested.
