Inauguration of the Machine

The last second hand mixer burnt itself out after I dropped it on the floor... The new one arrived yesterday so cake-making was called for today. The resulting carrot cake is looking pretty scrummy although according to Mary Berry it has as much banana in it as carrot! I might be a baker when I grow up.
