Went to the DDR museum in Berlin today which is a very hands on display of what every day life was like in East Germany. This is a typical living room which, as you can see, people are encouraged to sit in and touch and experience. How's that for style?

The museum was very busy this morning. It's an interesting place but I'm sure the fact that all the shops in Berlin are closed on a Sunday contributed to the busyness. They have lots of original artefacts hidden away in drawers and little cupboards you can open and touch but I really wanted everyone else t go away s I could look at it all properly. Very selfish I know.

Anyway, we're home now and it's very nice to sit on our own settee and watch our own Television.

Berlin's a great city.
