Northern Cardinal ...

... sitting pretty. 

We spent most of the day at home as we had plans for a picnic supper at Jacobsburg State park followed by a walk.  

The day was really lovely with the perfect temps and low humidity.  I spent lots of time outside with my camera photographing whatever came into view.  This gorgeous female Northern Cardinal posed really nicely for me.  I don't often get the opportunity to photograph these beautiful birds.
