Wild Wednesday ...

With the rain expected today we didn't think we would be able to get out for a walk.  But that wasn't true.  After lunch there was a slight break in the weather which allowed us to get to Housenick Memorial Park for a quick walk.

I had just made the comment of not seeing any deer when the lovely herd of nine white-tailed deer were seen as we were leaving the park.  And, yes, I said nine ... although only seven are seen here!  There were six adults and three little fawns.  It was great seeing such a large group of them all together.

We switched up our normal Thursday night eat-out-night to tonight because I didn't feel like cooking!  And after dinner out at our favorite diner we did a little food shopping.  

And that concludes the day ...
