Sanding

Today is the 8th, so a photo from yesterday. Then, I was sanding some lower walls that had been affected by a water leak some years ago. Of course we have no idea when, but only noticed when we removed the wallpaper months ago.
This is my FIL's old office and on the other side, part of the corridor next to the loo and bathroom is also affected. Both areas needed to be sanded down.
So today, Mme MB added two lots of treatment to those walls to both remove the stains and to stop them coming through the paint/wallpaper. Meanwhile more sanding for me, while she did that, in the utility room.

Tomorrow I have the top 50cm of wall to do, as well as the ceiling (we only have one set of step ladders, which Mme MB needed today).
Hopefully on Monday I can start to paint the utility room and we can also make a start on wallpapering.

As we've had two days in the early 30's, I've just been working in the morning and doing video bits and pieces in the afternoon. I don't think I could do a whole day of sanding walls - as I don't want to be totally out of action with my back. At the moment it is manageable and I've taken a paracetemol with breakfast before stating work. I'd say today has been better than yesterday.
