Bales All Gone

It was an early start with the dogs this morning - out with Oreo at 6 a.m. followed by Buzz at 6:45..I wanted to get them out in the cooler air so that overheating is not a problem - walked 3.5 miles altogether.

The sun was shining (it was only half an hour after sunrise) and the trees cast these fabulous long shadows across the field. The stubble looks really golden too. I noticed that all the straw bales have now been collected! I expect the farmer will be round with the harrow or plough soon!! This is at the opposite end of the field from yesterday’s blip, closest to the village.
