Cutting the cake

When daughter C was looking through photo albums to find photos to put on a photo board, she found in a packet this photo of my father at 80 cutting his birthday cake while my mother looked on. 

On Thursday 07 August I left my mobile phone at home. I only discovered that I had done after being dropped off by S. At that she was driving back to the A-Frame and would not respond. As I don't use it very much at work (mainly just to check the time), I got on with the day. 

It had been a busy and long day with a number of Mental Health Act processes to fulfil. By the time we got home, it was dark. I saw the photo And took a photo of what was a photo of a photo of my father at the family gathering for his 80th birthday
