Food was undoubtedly plentiful

Went for a walk with my camera in local streets this afternoon. Rain attempted to dissuade me from doing so but I kept going as it was very light . And then gave up. 

The Piwakawaka (fantail)was resting between feeding circuits above the homeless mulch. It looked like excellent mulch; I have enough of my own, so I won't be asking for more. It is rare that a Piwakawaka stays still long enough to get the focus right. Today I had time as well as rain on my side.
