Technical difficulties

The Windows 11 upgrade continues at work, with updates. After a very long consultation this morning I decided to go down to Tesco mobile to try and get the SIM cards in my work android phone and my old android phone switched over. My surgery bosses offered to help by swapping them , but all the contacts were on the wrong phones , so I went to Tesco anyway.

There the two young assistants did something synch-ey without checking that I had two Google accounts, one being on the old work phone. The result is that I have both work AND personal numbers on both my newly repurposed work phone and my iPhone! I can delete the ones I don’t want from my iPhone but not the personal ones from the work phone! It’s mad.

I’m not happy about this muddle.

On the other hand. I had two good, long client conversations today, and I explained to someone (an adult) the difference between Capitalism and Socialism in under two minutes….
