A Trolley Good Abstract Blip
The St Luke’s contingent arrived ‘en masse’ at The Exchange for our post-service coffee this morning to find that our reserved extra-long table had been appropriated by a large number of people from the Catholic church! There was no booking for them in the cafe’s diary, only ours… Fortunately there were just enough spare tables in the place to cobble together for us, so all was well. I really don’t think we want to return to the 16th century and start a church war in Tiptree!
I spent a good bit of the afternoon online and on the phone with eBay trying to get a collection code for my order, which has arrived at the local collection point without a code being emailed for scanning by the shop. No success so far. What a waste of time!
I then went on an errand run, dropping off a bag of donations at the local Age UK charity shop and then my book club novel across the road at the library. After that it was on to Sainsbury’s for the main grocery shop. I took my abstract blip there - can you guess what it is?
Thanks to Ingeborg for hosting the Abstract Thursday challenge, which has no specific theme on this first Thursday of August.
