Meet Up

I was out by 9am to drive to my brother's house in Penarth (Cardiff, South Wales, UK) to do a walk with former colleagues I served with; followed by a stop at a Coffee shop in Penarth town near the end of the 5.5 mile walk which took in a lap of Cosmeston Country Park.

We'd only gone a few hundred metres and there were spots of rain as I took the view above the RNLI station on Penarth Esplanade looking towards Penarth Pier. Luckily the rain held off and it kept warm. It's the only photo' I took!

Cardiff City FC play their second match of the season tonight. I can't recall the last time I watched them play on a Thursday - it must be a League 1 thing!
