Colorful insect

I'm not sure why kind of insect this is, other than it is likely in the dragonfly family. Interesting color, it was almost turquoise. This one was on a boxwood and another similar one, but it was black was on a nearby hydrangea. Both of them let me get fairly close with the camera.

I woke up this morning with an earache. I'm not sure if it is caused by the beginning of a sinus infection or by the problems I have with the TMJ joint. I used to grind my teeth at night, after I got dentures that stopped me grinding my teeth, but I still find tightness in my jaw some mornings, and this morning was one of them. I have been taking Tylenol today but it has not helped much with the pain. I switched to Motrin now, I find it seems to be stronger for pain relief.
