The Blooming Heather

I intended heading over Ilkley way but due to a road closure, I found myself at Shipley Glen. It looked very pretty with all the heather in bloom with the birch trees standing proudly above it. I didn’t venture into the steep sided glen.

Called for a bit of lunch on the way back and then watched both the women’s and men’s One Hundred cricket matches.
