Another day, another coffee

Once again, I’ve only managed to take two photos today. One was of my epic Asian supermarket haul,  the other was this coffee –  snapped and sent to my darling husband to let him know I was at our favourite café... without him. His own fault for choosing work over me Hahaha.

I drove my aunt over to visit my uncle in his dementia care home. My cousin’s daughter is feeling better now and has headed home, so that’s good news.

Got the spare links added to my watch strap, as I fancied wearing it more like a bracelet. Now it feels massive and heavy – not sure if I like it. If I can’t get used to it by next week, I’ll have one of the links taken out again. Between the new battery, the service, and these tweaks, I’ve basically doubled the value of the thing!

Ticked off a few more jobs on my to do list. Made good progress with my crochet, soaked up a bit of sun (when it bothered to appear), and baked a blackberry crumble to go with the ice cream I picked up yesterday. He'll be a happy bunny when he gets in.

Had a mammoth shop in the Asian supermarket. Now that I’ve cracked the bibimbap, I’m planning to have a go at the Korean curry Paul likes. I had a bit of a chat with one of the girls who works there – she gave me a solid recommendation for the right curry paste, so fingers crossed it doesn’t end in disaster.

Off on a little jolly tomorrow – Paul has to deliver car parts to three different places across the South East, so it’s shaping up to be a mini road trip. Hopefully with good blip opportunity too!
