A quieter day today with thankfully not too much damage in and around the town. I was sad, however, to see that this Rowan Tree in the park opposite didn't survive. 

This morning I attended a coffee morning linked to one of the local organisations I'm involved in and this afternoon I did my first volunteering shift at the Thrift Shop we are running to raise funds for the annual Community Fireworks and Bonfire.  There was a steady trickle of people coming in and the time flow by.

Tonight we will start catching up with University Challenge and continuing watching Karen Pirrie on STV Player.
