August Challenge - Satisfying
Day 22 of DDW's August daily challenge - Satisfying
I was invited to a private viewing of an exhibition in Milton Keynes this evening, of work by a Polish artist and photographer Aleksandra Warchol.
It was interesting for me to go back up to MK, I spent quite a few days up there last year taking photographs of some of the sculptures around the town in preparation for my ARPS, I didn't use any of them, but my view of the town changed considerably as instead of only seeing the shopping centre, I saw how much open space there was around the town, and also how they have made it an attractive place to live and work, quite contrary to its reputation.
The exhibition was at the MKGallery, and when I checked it out on an online map I realised that I knew exactly where it was, next to "The Object" by Dhruva Mistry, one of the sculptures that I had used.
So it was very satisfying to be able to drive to my destination in MK without needing the SatNag to get there. I used the old fashioned method of knowing where I was going! Finding the car afterwards, was a different matter.
