So many steps

Started the day with the Conkers parkrun. It was an up and down course but not too busy and not too hot. The start was very narrow and it took a while to get going so I was just over 30 minutes.  
Went back to the cottage for a shower and breakfast.  Packed up some sandwiches and set off on the Tramway walk.  It took us back towards Calke so we stopped to eat our picnic, tour the gardens and then enjoy an ice cream.  We rejoined the Tramway and went past our starting point to find the Tollgate brewery.  We sampled the beer under an umbrella in full sun for an hour or so and then wended our way back to the cottage.  We managed a laze in the sun in the garden reading and watching the swallows and a large hare.  
I was falling asleep by 9.30 but did manage to make it outside to bat watch and listen to the local owls.  
We packed in a lot and did over 30k steps.
