Baddersley Clinton

Had a lazy start to the day as we had a late check out from the cottage. We did set off around 11 to find another NT property on the way home. We couldn't remember if we'd been there before,  but when we arrived we realised it was a new one for us.  
Had a walk round the house,  including finding out about the priest holes.  
Coffee in gentle rain and then a walk round the gardens.  Great vegetable garden and some lovely borders alive with insects.
Had our picnic in the garden,  followed by more coffee and then headed home.  
Washer is on,  grand prix is on as we tried hard not to hear the results in the car on the drive back.  
Great weekend escape.
