Free as a bird
RM and I have had a lovely day out in Manchester catching up with S, C and 2 year old O. We met at the Manchester Museum and had good chats over coffee then lots of fun finding the dinosaurs, lions, tigers, and, if you're 2, the most important of them all - the monkey.
Blip - a lovely display of origami birds representing peace, I enjoyed the way that some were escaped out of the case and the shadows they left.
Onto lunch in Bundobust, one of the staple favourites of all 4 (5!) of us - entirely vegetarian Indian street food where everyone shares everything. We go to the one in Liverpool often, and this was the second one in Manchester we've been to. Can highly recommend - they are all ace, and their Mango Lopez Mocktail is delicious. Also pro tip: one should never leave without sampling the okra fries.
Still coughing merrily and hacking away, clearly it's time for the cold to really set in for the week.
