Memorlal Day

A great day out at Runnymede taking in an impressive collection of memorials and art installations on a 4.5 mile circular walk.

The blip has memorials for the Queen Elizabeth II, John F Kennedy and the Magna Carta. The first extra has The Jurors (top) and two temporary art installations. The second extra is called Writ in Water. Inside, the primary feature is the upside-down writing from Clause 39 of the Magna Carta and reflected in the water the right way up. I liked a lot.

We stopped off on the way back for refreshments before following the River Thames along to the car park. We then went onto Heathrow's Terminal 5 viewing point to see if I could get any photos.  A decent one of which was of a Rolls-Royce powered Boeing 787 Dreamliner - final extra,

We're off to a local pub for our evening meal.
