Dropped the m snd s donation at foodbank, came home and did a couple of chores and then walked up to Ji’s and we drove over to the open day at her nephew’s farm. She had thought we were needed to help but everything was sorted so we just wandered around, bought some raffle tickets, browsed the stalls , watched the start of the birds of prey display and then walked through a field planted with wild flowers ( and some sunflowers seeded from last year) to the new pond, dug in memory of Ji’s sister, snd where Ji scattered some poppy seeds. Stopped off at Moores nursery on the way home for coffee and a scone and I bought some low alpines and thyme for around the pond. Went to the supermarket and hung the washing out when I got home.
