Did a few hours gardening in the morning. Weeded , cut back and tied in the climbing plants in the sunny border and then got the step ladder out and cut back the jasmine which grows up the wall in the gravelled area in the back garden. The step ladder was a bit wobbly at times - gravel isn’t very stable and there lots of plants and a couple of obelisks that i have to avoid. Nonetheless I managed to get to all of the plant. It took a lot longer than I expected so will hope to finish the rest of the tidying up in that area over the weekend. Had a late lunch when I finished and then went over to J’s for a cup of tea and a chat and to discuss a couple of things for our holiday in October. Called in to Homesense on the way home to puck up a 2026 diary/planner and then to Dunelm for a small Pyrex bowl- broke mine the other day. I waled through the bedlinen section and they had lots of children’s designs so I bought a duvet cover which I will convert into a play mat. Collected the m and s donation for Food bank later. Only 11 trays this time so I managed to get it all in my car.
