Passing By
We left Glen Tanar this morning, heading south for home, but first we called in at Crathes Castle Parkrun. It was a figure of eight loop around the very pretty woodland and, unsurprisingly, the regulars were boosted by a number of orienteers heading home, like us. Becky went for her own run around the grounds whilst Tony ran and I walked the course. My knee has held up well this week so touchwood it will continue to strengthen.
At Perth we met with Rob and Euan, back from their road trip, and said goodbye to our Oxford family before continuing south to Jen and Pete's where we paused for cuppas and bacon rolls and a brief catch up.
The idea was to stop at Tebay for dinner, to save cooking at home but we were not impressed with the quality of the food sadly, which is a first. So it was onward to home and here we finally are, bags unpacked, baths enjoyed and relaxing.
My blip is taken from the car of Stirling Castle as we passed by.
