My new specs. Dame Edna? What do you think? Honesty is the best policy ....

Running mine in today and all things eyes as I took Mr HB to the Glaucoma clinic in Shrewsbury Hospital early this morning to have a field of vision test and a check on his glaucoma. Glad to say he had good results on both but will have to continue with his drops 3 times a day, which as he says is a small price to pay to keep his eyesight in good health.  

I'm getting on OK with my new specs and as they have a good transition lens and go quite dark I was able to wear them all afternoon whilst doing lots of work in the garden and still being able to read instructions on the plant food etc.

Weatherwise it's been a lovely day, warm and sunny and a great day for cross country gliding, so Mr HB informs me!
