Rose of Sharon

Last fall I pruned my Rose of Sharon bush/shrub/tree - whatever it is - which was looking very leggy. This year it rewarded me by making a nice leafy - and flowery - bush/shrub/etc.

The extra shows the whole thing, sort of. It stands under two oak trees, which means its exposure to the sun is somewhat limited.
