On the Front Porch

This morning as I left early for Pilates. It didn't look too happy but it wasn't there when I got home so perhaps it is ok.  After Pilates I came home and did 3 loads of washing. Most of it is dry as I write this but it's only recently that the sun has come out and it doesn't look as though it might rain any moment! While the washing was on I went off to the FAB Repair Café which just this once is taking place at the Barn Hall in Bookham. I took a while top which needed a repair and which Jane the seamstress has taken away with her for more remedials. I also took a Black and Decker cordless hedge trimmer for which I cant find the battery charger. The battery (no charge) is dated 2009 so its very possible that its permanently dead. however I don't want to risk buying a replacement it its impossible to charge at all. Sadly (and as expected) even the expertise of the electrical chaps at FAB couldn't solve this. 
This evening I was going to dinner with near neighbour Carol but she is not feeling well so that is postponed. So..... back to the ironing while the sun is out!
