WE'RE GOING ON A SLUG HUNT!

Hello Lovely Blippers, 

You are probably wondering where all the other members of the Silly Saturday Gang are today - well, they had the chance to go to the seaside for the day, so of course, they were all very excited and decided to go, even though it meant leaving some of us behind.  There were far too many of us to get into the back seat of a friend’s car, so we offered to stay and help Mr. HCB, who was moving lots of pots in the garden.

However, when he started to move some of the Hosta plants, we saw that some of the leaves had big holes in them.  When we asked Mr. HCB what had caused this, he said it was slugs - so we decided we would go on a Slug Hunt and of course, we’re not scared - after all, they are only tiny black things, so what harm can they do?  Well, when we said that to Mr. HCB, he told us that they do a lot of damage to plants, but they tend to leave humans and gangs like us alone - phew, that’s a relief!  

Here we are before we went on the Slug Hunt - and we were determined to find some.  We were really glad that Hoggy was with us because he likes slugs, although really he prefers worms.  Admirer would have giggled if she could have heard us all chattering about slugs and how we would eat them.  How very silly, but then it is Silly Saturday.

Can’t stop and chat more, as we have lots of slugs to find, so we will leave you all just reminding you to BE KIND - we are BEING KIND to Mr. HCB by helping him, so we hope that you are helping others today as much as you can.  You know it makes sense and you will feel better for it too!
