Busker Festival

I went to the Dartmouth waterfront tonight to walk around. The Busker Festival is on this weekend and one of the stages is here in Dartmouth. It is also the start of Natal Day weekend so the fair is set up.

This gal is from Melbourne, Australia and is one of only 6 Australian women who perform their own circus act. In this set, she picked 2 audience members, asked each of them to hold her braided hair, and she twirled the hula hoops around her hair. Then she had them swing a jump rope for her, and she was on a unicycle jumping the rope.

We had a few mm of rain this morning, I never checked the rain gauge to see if any landed in it. When I got up at 6:30 the radar showed it was going to rain till 11 am. So we delayed working until 11. The rain actually stopped around 10 am. It gave me a few hours to get caught up on paperwork.

A busy weekend planned. Going to the valley tomorrow to get some plants for various jobs. Brunch on Sunday, then a concert in Peggy's Cove on Sunday evening. I might go to the Natal Day parade on Monday, then the fireworks on Monday evening. Or I might go for a drive on Monday, I will see how I feel when I get up.
