Blue Shirt; Blue Sky
Picked Kent and Valerie up in Évora, had lunch at Choupana, and showed them the main sights, including this first century Roman temple - strange how we hardly go within the walls anymore.
Home for naps, very welcome after the traipsing around in the heat. After a lot more talking, decided to go off for a swim at Mourão's beach, and stayed for a sundowner, then home for supper in the garden.
Gratefuls:
- appreciative, easy guests
- Kent really helping us think through some issues (he's the director of the British section of our organisation, even though he's American, but very Third Culture, grew up in the Congo)
- surviving the heat in different ways, I actually got cold while we were in the water chatting!
