Bloodlines

I photographed the blood-vein moth in the bathroom this morning. I only managed one stab at it before it flew out of the window. It gets its name from the red line which runs across its wings.

The Eurocopter EC135 (or Airbus H135 as they are now known) was on the way to its base in Oxford from North Weald. The chief pilot of Capital Air Services, which owns it, describes it as an airborne Range Rover Sport.
Ideal to pop over to Paris for a shopping trip. Only one hour and twenty-five minutes from London. :)

When I feature two images I often try to make a connection between them. I got a kick out of noticing that the helicopter also features a red line. It's wavy and ends at the top of the tail with a word that I'm frustrated that I can't read.
