Today's the day ..................... to remain

I think I was first introduced to cosmos  by my very dear friend Marie Claire, on one of the occasions in the past when we stayed with her and Marc in France.  And ever since, there has not been a summer when I have not grown some from seed and they have put on a display somewhere in the garden from the late summer on.

This year is no exception - and these are some that I have grown and looked after until now, when they are looking at their best.  They'll keep going until September and they will be a constant reminder to me of Marie Claire - and all the wonderful times that we have had in France and over here.

I find it a huge comfort that in this troubled and conflicted world, some things remain the same .....................
