Walking among the flowers

It’s the last day of our family visiting and they decided to go to Bicton Park again. We started with a trip on the small train something neither grandson had done before and they both enjoyed it. After the necessary run around the big lawn and walk through the colourful small flower displays we all went for lunch inside.

Afterwards there was time to walk around the favourite parts of the gardens and the playground before heading back home. It was very hot and sunny but also pretty humid. There was a very brief heavy shower of rain but not much in quantity though.

After tea our daughter, son in law and the two grandsons headed home. They had an easy journey back. It’s been a lovely time with all the family together but now it’s time for my husband and I to relax.
