'Silent Killer': arsenic poisoning in Bangladesh
Arsenic contamination of water is widespread in Bangladesh. Arsenic cannot be seen, smelled or tasted but long-term exposure causes skin lesions and serious illness, including cancer. Ultimately it can be fatal.
We are building up to the launch of our crowdfunding campaign on September 18th. We hope to raise enough money to provide arsenic filters to people living in 10 villages in Chuadanga District.
This is a first for IMPACT. Please follow us over on Twitter - social media is going to be key to getting this campaign off the ground!
