View From Behind

Similar to yesterday's post, this is also a blue dasher dragonfly, only this specimen is, I think, a juvenile, identified by the yellow and brown streaks along the abdomen. The abdomen will turn blue when it reaches adulthood as in yesterday's image. Males have dark streaks in the wings, so this is a male. Females keep the yellow and brown streaks.

I would have preferred a front on view, but access wasn't possible from that direction. But I do like the detail in the wings.
