In The Heat Of The Day

Another hot one in a run of hot ones. Topped out at 95°F today. Even the dragonflies were taking a rest. No birds flying, all quiet.

Extra: Ever Watchful. Surprising to find a green heron up in the dead ash. Haven't seen any since early spring.
